Panel meets its maker
Sitting on the couch watching an old twilight zone episode and my camera was right beside me so I decided to show you why these trucks are so rare......

It's not an Airlfow. 
To tout its safety and reliability, Chrysler filmed a commercial of an Airflow being driven off a cliff, tumbling and then being driven away after the fall. Don't believe me, take a look at around 5:20.

Ha-ha! I saw the listing for the Rip Van Winkle episode of Twilight Zone before I left the house this mornging to I set it to record. I'm going to watch it tonight with a box of tissues.
BTW, I suppose there are worse ways to go. Here's how mine is going to make it's maker. Well, I doubt it'll make it's maker but it's probably going to get a trip to China in the near future. Hopefully it'll be on it's way by the beginning of next week and then I'll have room to install the lift:

Got up off the couch and went to see a panel I'd heard about that was local. I posted it on the fridge site when we got home. Kinda rough, but not 'driven off a cliff' rough......Happy New Year to all Ford truck guys, whatever the category

My panel feels the pain from here
Even though it was horribly abused for the last 40 years, my panel thinks that's a terrible way to go. At only about 8,000 production each year, we need to get the old panels out of the barns and back on the road.
