well a while back no one wanted my running boards so i put them back on on i havent had them on in 6 years. wow i know. i have own my ex fo 9 years. woo hooo!
anyways. i have put them on and only one side are working... i have taking the dust spray like u would use on key boards and still nothing. i have a couple fuses are burnt out. ineed to go to he store and get some fuses.

When you say only one side is working, you're referring to the running board lights, correct?
If yes, then I'm pretty sure (not 100%) that it's only one fuse for the running board lights.
If you have a volt meter, check to make sure you have power running to the side without lights. It's possible, though not probable, that all the lights burned out on one side.
The running boards on Excursions (and Expeditions) are known for having light issues. The water runs down the board and collects around the light sockets and/or the light sockets don't keep a good seal and moisture builds up inside. That corrodes the sockets eventually ruining the sockets.
