My brother got his from Napa but with the adapter for the glow plug I think it was close to 200 bucks...probly a lot cheaper than snap on...
with the compression, I have read 400 is a brand new engine and any where from 325 to 375 is normal. When I did a test on my green truck with 225k miles it ranged from 365 to 375
EDIT: I have this info saved with that adapter from other forum:
this does not fit the HF quick connect fitting so i took it to a logging store and looked through the hydraulic fittings and found a quick coupler that had female threads on one end and the other, female quick connect ($6.00). it snapped over the adapter. in the HF kit there is a fitting with a compression nipple on one end and male threads on the other. i screwed the HF nipple onto the hydraulic fitting and that worked as a coupler between my GP adapter and HF compression tester.

Thanks guys. For 30 bucks I'm going to get it, but now I'll have to make it work properly with our trucks

If you PM your e-mail I can send you a file with more info about the HF kit and other alternative for a home made adapter (but maybe this could not be this year, but next year as soon I got this PC, OK?)
