First truck problem
I just bought my first truck for 900. It's a 2000 f150 Xlt 4x4 with about 200,000 miles. It's nice and clean but having a tranny problem. When I put it in drive rpms drop and it stalls. It works fine in any other gear besides drive. Any help would be really appreciated.

Jeremy go to the FAQ's and read the ones about '? idle' etc. You may have a IAC motor problem or some other dirty thing.
If your transmission works in all gears fwd/Rev and the truck drives OK, I'd bet on the IAC.
You sure got a good truck at a good price. 200K is not too much for the Truck you have.
