Surging idle
Hey guys.
Truck has a surging idle. Does it randomly whether the engine is cold or hot. I have some video of it surging when I was at a McDonalds the other day, but it just shows the tach going up and down about 200-300 rpms.
Now this morning (7am) it's doing it again.
We put two different scanners on it. One was a snap-on scanner and the other I believe was a Matco scanner. No codes pulled even though..... the other day it threw a CEL. The CEL wasn't on when we scanned it.
What are some things I can check?

Still have surging idle.
Checked the ICP plug. No oil inside.
The pedal seems to have flat spots in it and I press it down as I'm driving. Any chance the throttle pedal is going bad???
I think I have multiple problems here, because the engine was idling really rough today also and threw a code, but my buddies scanner wouldn't pull a code even though there was a CEL on. WTF?
