Gauge wiring

Going to install gauges on 1989 and does anyone know which wires coming from the ignition switch are hot only when the truck is running or another place to tap into.

i tap into a switched fuse in the fuse block. tapping off the ignition switch will be unfused.

2nd the fuse block. Unfused can lead to problems on these old wiring harnesses. On any harness for that matter.
