Hey guys, I figured I'd post this over here as well to help it be reached by more people. I believe this bracket may work for those of us that want to swap in a Saginaw pump.
says its for a mustang. Dont think it will work and where do you find the delphi/saginaw pump? If you are just looking for a stock E series van bracket. Let me know and I can go pull you one and ship it to you for say $70?

That would be great!
I think this kit would work, the mustang is more cramped then the trucks engine bay and the picture shows the same stock power steering pump that I have on my Bronco.

Very true, that kit however is a little pricey. Although it does look well built I'm sure a factory E series bracket cleaned and painted flat black would look just as good
Yep, they still show NSP 816795 on the website but have been NLA for quite some time.
The horseshoe adapter and longer shaft of the napa/cardone reman would make it so easy.
I would like one for my 460, but now will have to find an older E-series van with the Sag pump and get the bracket too.
The bracket linked to will only fit Windsor engines.
On further inspection it seems that one would have to swap over to the Mustangs AC bracket. It appears the mustang has seperate pieces for the AC and the PS, where on the truck it is one large cast piece at least thats whats on my 351w.
Anyone out there with a 5.0 mustang that can confirm/deny this?
To make things even easier....it appears also that the Mustang uses a different AC compressor....

Do u have the cardone part number for the pump? I had it once but lost it ...
I do know most of the big chain stores can order cardone ....

This is all true! I just tore down a mustang 5.0, rebuilt it and swapped on a serp setup from a 5.0 explorer. The mustang has seperate brackets for the A/C & P/S pumps. Also the stang a/c pump is mounted with dog ears and NOT a pod mount like our trucks.
