I have a 460 in my '78 F250 4X4. All my engine brackets are from L&L. My power steering pump is starting to squeal and leak real bad so I'm going to change it. Was wondering what I would get into by trying to get a saginaw pump installed.
From what I remember of mine it should be a direct bolt on. The L+L bracket is no different than the stock bracket as far as the pump mounting is concerned. The only difference was the way it mounted to the motor which should not affect a saginaw swap.
