I will take a peek at mine tomorrow but I'm thinking that yours certainly looks nothing what mine looks like. That's a fair amount of crud for a truck less than 2 years old.
A number of things are rusting and I don't live in a snow prone area.
When we do get snow/ice a few times a year, only salt is thrown on bridges.
Roadways are only sanded.

The new heavy truck service manager asked me if it was dripping (it isn't but that's not the point) so we'll see what they find.
New service management makes me nervous until I rebuild that customer/dealer relationship.
Differential resealed. Easy enough fix.
Dealer had my truck 24 hours. Can't complain about that.
I think this is the first mechanical repair and nothing major.
