Well I just made it back from my dads shop in Goodyear AZ. I have to say I'm quite impressed! I have an 02 F-250 4x4 cc long bed with 106k on the truck. I have a K/N filter, and replaced the Y pipe, the rest of the truck is stock. My first run on the stock settings was 166.4 HP to the ground and about 260ft pounds. After the tune I pulled 242.2 HP and 349.6ft pounds to the ground, which is crazy for only reconfiguring the tune I am about to get some headers put on the truck because the graphs are showing that the truck is basically choking on its own exhaust.
they are SAE #'s, we changed the MAF transfer functions, timing, and fuel tables, and got the truck to run in open loop under WOT. There is a couple of trade secrets that I cant give out but I'm able to get about 14 MPG hwy and about 11.5 city.
all it is, is a SCT X3 tuner, and my dads tune. The bad part is that he is just starting his business and isn't e-mailing tunes. so you would have to go to him till he gets into sending out tunes. I know I'm a little biased because he is my father but, he does great work and stands behind all of it, another nice thing is that with all of his tunes all the factory safe guards are in place, and will pass emissions. If any one would like his number for any questions or live around Arizona and would like his address let me know. If any one goes to the shop he does offer a discount on services for being on a forum.
All I printed out was the final run, I tried to post it on here but it said it was too big. I'm really not meaning to encroach on any ones business, I am just stoked that I'm able to get these kind of numbers with this mileage. I've never had any work done from Mike, but from what I hear on the forums people seem to be happy with him. Next year I'm moving to Arizona to help run the shop with my dad, and I know I wouldn't want any one stealing work from me. At the same time I'm not apposed to helping the guys out here that have been so helpful to me. If anyone would like to see the final run shoot me an e-mail k.lisowski@hotmail.com and I will get it to you. I hope I'm not pissing anybody off by posting this, it is truly not my intention.
I wanna see the graphs, especially the under the curve numbers. With the gains you listed, there has to be points at which you picked up 100+ ft-lbs, at fairly lower rpms, or spun the thing to 6k+.
I'm not knocking your runs at all, I wanna see the impressive gains under the curve, since thats where it truly matters. Also, what octane?
F-O-R-D Dude I was attempting a bit of humor so please don't take my comments to heart! Mike is a great example of building a business based upon extreme customer service. The products are one part of it, follow up and working with customers is the biggest part of it.
Its great you're sharing your results and obvious enthusiasm at the results you've seen for yourself. The bunch here will be a bit tough to convince at first but that's good too----making them believers in your dad's offerings after a few have been installed and in use would benefit everyone associated with these new tunes. Yeah its a tough crowd but none better to spread the word.
If your dad's tunes become the new great thing to have it'll only make Mike work harder which in the end benefits everyone---friendly competition improves any product--its the American way.
Hoping to see more info as it becomes available too----best of luck in the new venture!

My F-250 is a 4X4, with 373 gears, if I'm seeing correctly your Excursion is a 2wd. My mileage before the tune was around 9.5mpg weather I was hauling, freeway, etc. Believe me I wish I got those numbers stock, then that would make my numbers now all the more improved.
Sounds like our (power) numbers are about equal. 253/356 on 87 Octane tuned with an SCT by Pete Johnson - performance-dyno - Concord, NH.
I want to see if there is any way to get some of my lost drive train power back. I don't think I will see too much since my pick up is a 4X4 crew cab long bed with 33" tires. I think I may look into having a procharger installed at some point but I need to do more research to find out what kind of power my tranny can take as well as the motor. I dont want to install this and blow the truck to hell!!

My truck specs:
4x4
eBay headers (junk)
SPD y-pipe
285/65/16 BFGs
3.73 LS
I have lots of experience supercharging Modular motors - the key is the tune (like anything of course).
Good Luck with your project.
