I know another headliner thread

well after I FINALLY got the right headliner for my truck, please remember this is my first old truck. but my interior is a mixture of 67 & 69 parts, don't ask me how I really don't know. but this is my problem I have no way to post pictures on my computer, so the best I can do is describe what I have. I got the abs headliner & I really like it, no moisture problems, but I have 8 chrome pieces to go around it, 6 are long 90 degree pieces, but only 2 have the 90 degree corner bends, then I only have 2 pieces that are short that would mate up to them, the other 4 long 90's have no corner turns on the straight ends. HELP! anyone have any pictures of this mess, it took me until this past week to find the right screws I really would appreciate any help at all, because I don't know if I have the right trim, or anything. SOS, SOS thanks guy's bear with me I'm learning slowly, but surely.
regards marty

I was thinking there was only 6 pieces to the trim, not 8.
The two long front pieces, the two rear corners and the two halfs for the rear.

Sounds like you have 4 front pieces.

Ford changed the pieces from 6 (1967-1969) to 4 (1970-1972) because the 4 were easier to install during assembly.

Mike/ William or fellow FORD-DIN- NARES, does the left and right side fit inside the roof cavity or does it line up just over the little hump or raised rim that goes all around the sheet metal just before the cavity starts? I have the two holes just above the mirror installed but the rest I’m not sure about? Can U post more pictures Also of the actual install? I don't want to mess up this $110.00 piece of board!!! LOL

Its gonna be the same position as in the pics of the headliner trim above.

@MIKES 68 F100......do you have a 67 cab or are you just running a 67 rear view mirror?

1967 mirror is like the one that is in your truck and was mounted "above" the windshield. 1968 and up are mounted "to" the windshield.
67 cab has "pull up" door handles with the short arm rests and ***** for the heater, where as 68 and up have the longer arm rests and the "slider" controls for the heater. Maybe someone just installed a 67 rear view mirror in there before you got it????
