Truck's dead. PCM?

Started earlier today with the reverse sensing system malfunctioning. Always chiming even when nothing was behind me.

Was driving home and my TCS shut itself off, Temp gauge was jumping from cold to warm. Pulled over, shut off truck to check DTC's. No codes and now she wont start. Ideas?

Reflashed and everything is normal except the Reverse Sensors. Still beep when in reverse constantly.

Check your batteries to see if they are getting weak.

You think batteries? When I went to start it, I didn't even get a reaction from the starter or anything. And it started after re-flashing. I'll have them checked tomorrow either way.

mine has done lots of goofy things with low batteries. dome light comes on after starting, check brake system message while cranking, lost memory on trip, average mpg, radio presets, cd player started ejecting cd's when I started it one day...all sorts of goofy things can happen.

Damn. Hadn't heard of that yet. But that sounds like what my truck did. I just don't understand why it all of a sudden started.

I forgot to mention, I had a similar thing happen a few weeks ago.
I had been running the 250tune for a couple weeks, when one day at work (all our trucks were in the garage) I used my truck to go pick up the forklift tire from tire shop. Ok, I pull out of the yard and realize my truck sounds like ***t, kind of like it had no exhuast and/or the fan was spinning and increased with RPM, very loud roar...I was about a block away from shop so I turned back and pulled into shop and popped hood, it was def the fan..didnt notice anything else. So I shut down and tried to start again but nothing, not even a tick....

I grabbed the battery charger, turned on to "start"...still nothing.. I was thinking to myself wtf?!?
I reflashed with the 275 and when done it fired up like nothing ever happened.
Batteries were/are fine. (they are actually under a year old)

Did you notice anything else weird? Now that I think about it, my truck didn't sound quite right but I didn't check anything before shutting down.

Interesting. So maybe the tune was corrupted somehow and the reflash fixed it?

Left the house this morning with zero issues. Reverse sensing even worked normal. Driving down the road, everything went crazy again. Battery light, check engine, TCS turned itself off and wouldn't turn on. Gauges stayed constant though. Had batteries tested at Auto Zone, they checked out ok. Of course, after everything going crazy, truck wouldn't start. Re-flashed AGAIN and viola. Started up no issues. No DTC's, System Check OK and Sync Vehicle Health Report is OK. I guess I'll go back stock to see if I can re-create the issue.

Pardon my dumb question, but when testing diesel batteries, should one disconnect them and test individually since they are wired in series?

Had the batteries tested independently and one is "Replace Soon" and the other is "OK."

i would consider replacing both at the same time. Individually what did they test at?
