computer relearn
how long does it actually take for the computer to relearn and hold data after the battery was disconnected?
mine has been acting a little goofy this week like it might be trying to learn or hold data.
i rebuilt my alternator a few weeks ago and had the battery disconnected
also, does anyone know or have the data file for the eprom chip? i got the chip unsoldered from my spare computer and ready to be whipped clean. tried searching on the web for the data to load into the eprom but no such luck.
IF i was to buy a re-manufactured computer does it come with any updates and is it clean and ready to use? $85 from carquest for a computer

As far as relearning....mine normally takes 4-5 cold starts with more than 5 miles driven each time. Sometimes it learns faster but those are the numbers I have been told it takes to be sure all is learned.

it WAS running ok when it was warm but now it seems to hold RPM's higher for longer when driving like a stuck throttle cable or something. before as soon as i took my foot off the gas the engine came right down to idle speed.
it is lingering.
gonna get a few cans of seafoam and dip all different vacuum lines in it.
can anyone tell me if a 92-96 IAC will have the same values as those from a 87-91 302 engine?
