Here is a link to the bulb i purchased from the big "A" website, for a Halogen bulb, note: it must be used with a relay harness and ceramic bulb socket.
the bulb is a Whopping $8.68!

Unless you plan on using a projector lense (lens is correct sp also) and/or retrofit of some sort stay away from HIDs. Lots of information as to why you should on this site.

As an update to my last post, I just purchased all the parts to do a complete lighting upgrade to my 99'SD (sans aero reflectors) for under $30 total.
That's the 2 spdt relays one for high and low beams, fuse(s) 12ga. wire (14 would work but 12 is better) ceramic sockets and bulbs too.
I'm cheap I'll build the "racing"
harness myself.....easy piezie.
