Hey guys I just ran in to a nice chunk of cash and am going to finaly finish my 96 bronco. I am going to buy a set of super swamper radials, these are the tires I prefer and I have run them several times before but not on a bronco. I want to know if anyone has run the 36 14.5 instead of the 36 12.5? I have a 6 inch lift but still not sure if 14.5 will be too wide. If anyone has run this wide of a swamper let me know. Oh yaa I know lots of you will tell me what other tires to run instead and although I appreciate it I am sticking with the super swamper. They work perfect for what I need ,and I know, there are lots of other great tires out there. Thanks
I've never run them, but if I had to guess I'd say they're going to be too wide. I would think they are either going to rub on the suspension or the fender/bumper when you turn. But that's just a guess.
Oh, just so you're not disappointed, don't buy Swampers!
well i would go for it.... i know im going to once i get my 351 running. and if they do rub buy some wheel spacers with it. thats my two cents.
PS.....i know ya said you didnt want to here this but i would get the TSL Radials..... same milage life but more nosiy and better wider teeth. lol thats why i love them
I would not go for any that wide. I used to have a smaller truck that had wheels much to wide for the lift it had, and they rubbed so bad even during regular driving conditions, potholes and the like. I am not a fan of really wide tires in general, so my opinion is a little biased.

Thanks guys I do plan on getting radials and I know some of you dont like swampers but I think there great for this northwest mud. I have run them before on most of my other trucks, just not on a bronco, so I will not be disapointed. They even run great in the sand aired down.
I think they will fit fine. I had a 96 f-350 with 6" of lift. Different rig I know but the same size fender openings and bumper I think. I had 38.5 15.50 swampers on it with a minor and I mean MINOR trim to the bottom of the bumper where it curves around toward the frame. Never rubbed! I mean never. I only trimmed the bumper where I did because everyone told me they did.
truly do love my 16/ 38.5x15 TSL SuperSwamperz on my truck but it sure was great to get the bronco on the road and never listen to a btch on a warn 800 line cuzz she aint gotta clue
