Good By Old Friend
I bought the truck new and now have sent it to the salvage yard. It was a sad day. Removed the 9” posi rear and called for the hook. Thought I would give it a good sendoff by lining up its predecessors for its last mug shot.

It was a great truck. Tried to find someone who would rebuild it but no luck and I just do not have time. Shame, it was one of the last 79’s built. Ordered it in late July of 79 while I was working at Ford and was told it probably would not be built as they were getting ready to retool for the change in body style. It showed up a few weeks later. Stopped driving it when I got my current job which supplies me with a company truck.
