well, I will check that out. handy that the difference in the intake can be measured like that. since the truck came with a federal title, I guess I am surprised the truck was built in canada. also surprised that they would stick a 302 in a f350.
also will check the number of bolts on each valve cover. I haven't climbed under to see which transmission it is. Tomorrow will grab a pic of that label, ctubutis. thanks for the info.

The valve covers have 8 bolts. Haven't measured the intake yet, as I didn't take a tape measure with me. It is cold here in North Dakota, but not as cold as it will be a month from now.No snow to speak of, but had mud last week. Sadly, though didn't get a chance to play in it.

According to my Chiltons, there is supposed to be a tag behind the thermostat housing, but mine is missing. Just love previous owners.
Went to put a radio in, and discovered that the p.o. just grabbed the wiring harness and pulled until something let go. so have to rebuild that.
No huge deal, just time.

If you have the time and are so inclined, get yourself onto Facebook and, someplace in your account preferences settings, you can set up an externally-available URL that people can access your FB profile from.
Make sure that URL matches what you have in the FB entry of your FTE prefs, that'll make your blue ball clickable (instead of giving an error).

Done. I am on facebook everyday for my work so makes sense to do that... feel free to send me a friend request.

I pushed some button and it seems to now imply the request was sent, doesn't seem like I went through enough work, though.
I don't get onto FB all too often, it's generally pretty annoying to me and I get all these irritating messages about people sending requests from Farmville or Castleville or some such yahoo.......
