Does anyone know where I can get a headliner for a 1978 ford f250 super cab? I checked LMC and they only had one for a single cab. As for a rollbar, I've never seen one for one of these trucks, but that's why I'm asking on here. Any ideas?
For your headliner I would buy a full sheet of 1/8" ABS and use your old one as a template. A guy on ebay sells a sheet with shipping included for around $70. It comes in black with one side textured so if you didnt want to cover it you can just use the textured side. You can use a utility knife to cut it.
The other full size roll bars won't fit if your bed has a drivers side forward fuel tank. There is a channel for the filler neck in the bed. If you look at the drivers front leg it will be tipped inward and is almost straight up and down compared to the other roll bars.
I redid the headliner in my supercab. I will post pics soon (probably next week). Basicly I went to Jo-ann fabric and bought headliner material and headliner spray adheasive. Then went to a junk yard and got a clean headliner out of an 80's model extended cab. I traced out my old headliner on the back side of the new one, cut it to fit and installed it. I later put in an overhead consol. Get someone to help you install it though, it's impossible by yourself. A little trimming on the backside may be nesicary, but it is better to make it a little big and trim, than too small. The headliner out of the 80's model is bigger than a dentside because in our trucks there is metal above the windshield and in the 80's the headliner goes down to the windhield.
I suppose up here in Wisconsin the junk yards must be loaded with these old trucks. The worst part about this one is that I need one for an extended cab.
