Is it the top corner of the passenger side crossmember motor mount on the frame being cut at an angle, eliminating one of the bolts?

I don't have any experience with swap motorsupports, but I'm getting cross-eyed looking at that one in comparison with the axle. Looks like the 390 would have been twisted in the frame!

Bingo !

The cross member was installed at 24 inches from front of the first cross member on the passenger rail and at 21 inches on the drivers rail. Missed it by three entire inches. Brings new meaning to measure twice and weld once.

Yes the FE was a bit sideways and the aftermarket insulators are toast. I have never run in to this type of mount before and it has been in there a long time.

This too, nothing was in the way of the mount as to reason just why it was nipped off with a torch.

There is one other item of interest in the pictures.

Must be that the right side only has the one bolt, I wonder if by moving the 'cradle' forwarde one hole would have squared it up. Or maybe that chunk that's missing out of the front left cross member.

They saw it, but hell, it would have taken a whole 2 hours to fix it and do it right.

It looks like the first crossmember from the front of frame has a notch cut in it on the drivers side. It looks like another crossmember that may have come across above the front spring in the area of the rear spring hanger may have been modified or removed. Is the cab moved back and is that the rear cross for the old bellhousing rear motor mount. In your bio it says the truck is lifted but I dont see any evidence of it. I dont know just a guess.

The front cross member had a section removed to allow the huge honking truck radiators lower outlet to pass. I guess a correct radiator was to hard to locate. There are also two corresponding notches in the frame rail to let the flange slide down. I am in the process of fixing those now.

The lifted reflects when it is done, I already have the 6" rear suspension lift in place and needed to get the engine out so i could fabricate up the custom brackets and radius rod mounts for a Twin I beam lift.

I need to scrounge up some large truck fenders for it and one of auto fabs drop hoods or even modify one of my spares. There are a few other things in the works body wise. But more on that later.

Sounds pretty involved. Keep us updated with pics. Im going to lift my 63 f250 4x4 a few inches. Ill have a local spring shop rebend them and maybe go a few over factory specs. Ive read that you dont want to go to much more than that or you might have drive line angle problems.

You can use angle shims to correct or lower the divorced T case a bit on the mount.

I have a spare 44 laying around and thought of converting it. But a long travel i beam setup in front intrigues me.
