390 Valve Guide

OK. I got .3730 for intake and .3745 for exhaust from napa auto parts. The intake stem diameter spec is .3711-.3718 and exhaust is .3706-.3713

Valve stem range I have is 0.3711 - 0.3718 for both intake and exhaust.
All figures I have quoted are from my 1966 Ford Factory Manual for 390s, 428, etc. Only the 427 is listed as having a slightly different valve stem dia. spec, (exhaust only 0.3701 - 0.3708)

I'll see what my 67 Ford factory manual says, I'm working on a 67-69 390.

My 67 Ford truck factory manual doesnt have 390 but does have 352. Here's what it is for the 352. valve guide .3728-.3735 and intake stem is .3711-.3718-and exhaust is .3701-3708.
