Florida Chapter Meet... sortof
OK Florida Chapter, here is what happened, I was on the Excursion - King of SUVs forum pissin' and a moaning about the Texas boys wrenching together quite frequently and SkySkiJason from North Georgia got tired of hearing my whining and challenged us to meet with him as he was passing through for the holidays in Lake City area. This will not be an actual wrench turning meet, more of a oh that is your ugly mug meet. We understand that it is the holidays and that is why we are not trying to negotiate right now on different locations and what not and that is why we are locking down the date, time, location and we are just tossing it out there now to see if anyone else that may just be in Northern Florida or anywhere in Florida if you want, to come on out and join us. Right now it is 3 of us, SkySkiJason, BassFantasizer and myself. Come on Florida, let's make this baby step and make a small effort for this one. Later we will be looking for the one more in Central Florida which I assume is this one, Central Florida Bi-Monthly Meet which appears to be dead since around the August time frame. I know that 809taino is interested.
So Florida Chapter, what do you think??? We leave it to you now...

My wife and I were in Jacksonville yesterday on other business and made a point of meeting with HardRESET for "fellow Excursion owner" introductions. We swapped stories, talked about our vehicles, and had a fine time over dinner. Alas, with almost 3 hours of driving ahead of us we had to break about 9PM to make it home by midnight.
Anyone near Jacksonville that doesn't know HardRESET should make an effort to meet him. He's good people.
And a reminder of the upcoming Lake City meet -- 3's Company, but the more the merrier.

Unless you all can rearrange things a bit and set it for orlando. It wouldn't be so hard on me.
