Can't wait to see what Bass and Misky have for pictures!
I can't wait until an even bigger GTG in 2012!
You guys are awesome. Keep em coming. Im waiting for @LivingLarge to get back to
fort lauderdale and maybe a few more folks for a meet in south Florida after the holidays. .
Well, the first annual (traditional) Christmas meet of FTE's North Florida contingent was held today in Lake City. Thanks to Jason for meeting us for this inaugural event and boosting attendance.
It turns out that all of the attendees from North Florida are in the IT field. After a short discussion we realized that none of us actually owned a pencil so minutes were not taken. A waitress overheard the discussion and suggested that we take notes on our cell phones. She was ignored. (Except for the part where she took our orders and brought us food. We're not complete dummies!)
Fortunately, HardRESET brought his camera and took a number of great pictures as proof that we met. Misky and I did our parts by adding to the conversation and Excursion count.
It was documented that 100% of the Florida attendees drove their Excursions to the meet! Perfect attendance!!!
Actually, we had a darned good time. We talked, swapped tales, and inspected each other's Excursions. No wrench turning, no busted knuckles, no grease under our fingernails, and no hangovers....
Thanks for a great day, guys! And thanks for the encouragement that we received from the other FTE members. I look forward to seeing these guys again, and to meeting more of our brothers.
