New Boots

Hey Guys,

Just got some new CAC boots and clamps, question how tight to I make the clamps???

well everytime i have done this, the torque spec seems to be: really freakin tight

Agreed. When I did mine I got them tight,then did a hard WOT run. If they didn't pop off I had them tight enough.

Just go nice and snug. If you clean the oil off the pipes and clamp the boots properly you won't have an issue. If you go overboard you will egg shape your tubes and then you won't get anything to hold.
