That power lift must come in handy with your deliveries! If the Post Office dosen't figure something out soon, there will be many old postal vehicles for sale!

Well if he uses the Saddle Bag Tanks that were available for our Orphans, he'll not have to fab anything up. They are available, as I've acquired 2 of them.

The prob w/ the Pinto was that the Suits in a Cost cutting effort had a Bolt relocated for the '73 model where it faced into the back of the fuel tank in the support strap. So when rear-ended, that bolt would puncture the F/T.
From '72 on back, that bolt originally ran Parallel to the tank in the strap securing it in place. I drove a '72 Runabout for years, as second owner in my family, she was a great little runner. My Grandmother traded a Cherry '60 T-bird in for her.

Saddlebag tanks

CF

I would be interested in more information on these tanks. Like where do they mount and where would the fill points be? Looking in the ford illustrated parts guide I seen some for the F350 and up but not sure they would fit a styleside f250? Or are these the after market ones that mount in the bed area.
