Does anyone know where I can pick up the proper paper work to apply for membership to the 200,000 mile club? LOL! Just turned it over this afternoon, and even though I know there are many members,...... I'am tickled pink!
Lets see,......That's 66,666.666 yards, 1,056,000,000 feet, and 126,720,000,000,000 inches! LOL ! Now I'm gonna shoot for 133,333.32 yards,2,112,000,000 feet , and 253,440,000,000,000 inches ! WOW, I'm not sure I got all that right and I even used a calculator!!!!!
That is great, what have you had to do...how long have you owned the truck
I see a hpop change..did you change for performance or hard starting...any problems?
I've owned it since Sept. 2005. It had around 130,000 on it when I bought it, so my 70,000 in 6 years has kinda evened out the previous owners 130,000 in his 6 years owning it.
The HPOP change was because the back plug threads blew out after an o-ring change. I could have had the threads repaired , but after speaking with Joey @ terminator engineering, I decided on the t-500.
Don't get me wrong in the 6 years I've owned it, it has been anything but CHEAP getting it to this point, but I love my truck!
As far as pics as proof, I do have one on my cell, but I,m not sure I can get it transferred to my laptop. My wife has been after me to upgrade my "Fisher Price" my first phone (flip phone) , but I keep putting it off. I'll see what I can do. Other than the usual maintenance, oil changes, brakes & rotors, filters, etc. ..
I have done the following;(off the top of my head)
New front shocks --2 times
2 sets of tires
t-500 hpop
new water pump
new starter
2 sets of batteries
2 sets of ball joints
2 clutches (mechanical failures)
2 gpr's
1 blower motor
New shifter lever
new knuckle seals
2 slave cylinders
1clutch master cylinder
Haha! Awesome, man... that's just broke in. I've got 321K and it's still going strong. There's another FTE member on here (Chris I think?) who's got over 380K. My old boss had 380K on his and I saw a van that had over 700K on the odometer. Congrats on your miles!
thanks for the info, It gives everyone some idea of some of the things to watch out for.
I agree that I love my truck also. If I had retired a few years later I would have bought a 6.0..a scarey thought..I would rather be lucky than good anytime!!
