What's New?

Responses from everyone would be good. Especially those who (knew) know me, I'm still alive

Baseball season is starting. Looks like my son will be on two teams.
Looks like I'll be helping coach two teams.

Ordered a new Dell computer for the house. Twin DVD drives, flat panel monitor, all that jazz.

The Superhawk is all back together. New tires (Michelin Pilot Powers). Front forks reworked. Dropped 1 tooth on the front sprocket. I LIKE it!

I hurt my back. It HURTS. I am not moving very well right now.

Joe, are those Napoleon Dynamite "skills" you speak of? That was the first thing I thought of when I read your post. I bet you mean guitars...maybe your truck.

Let's see.. What's new?.....I got nothin' ..Oh yeah, new ball joints and shocks. Does that count?

My back hurts sometimes. Not today though.

Hope you get better, Brian.

Good to see ya back, Tom.

Rich

"...kittycat? Whoa whoa-whoa, whoa-whooooaaaa"

Bought over $2k worth of furniture. Did "some things" with the wife last night. Yes, that was plural.

Those were the important ones.

Hmmm....

I got 20's, in 275/45hr20 falkens (i likes)

3/5 drop with doetsch tech shocks all around. Took 3 days working around my schedule, and it's been about 2 weeks and I still have a sore back and right calf. don't ask. My air hammer broke after the 3 days. Still haven't returned it.

This past monday i started sales at SEARS auto, all the mechanics are harrassing me to come back to the shop. Now I'm selling the tickets that made me hate the sales people when i was a mechanic.

Formatted my laptop, and have since lost the sheet of paper I wrote all my settings and programs on. My XP pro disk doesn't work properly, and I despise XP home.

Buying a new tool box tonight, and maybe some tools if i see something i fancy. With SEARS' sales, my 10% discount, my 15% tool coupon discount, and tonight is family night, for another 10%. I'm pretty much robbing them blind.

2 more months of college, and free forever. I've got to start passing my classes. Spanish and "Computer Mastery" I now know how to use word, powerpoint, and excel. If i've got a p4 at 3.2, 1 gig of dual channel ddr400, 128mb mr9700, yada yada yada. I don't think this class is going to be too hard....

Took some "dangerous shots" at the beach the other day.

Future plans:

Fix my lappy
new mirros
paint all black pieces
graduate
uh....lots more.

Well, the past couple of months have been pretty crazy for me. The night of January 21st I got in a wreck with my truck, t-boned an elderly woman. It was one of those "my light just turned green, her light just turned red deals" And they still have to figure out who is at fault. I'm not sure what kind of damage it did to her 95 Taurus, but it did $5,000 in damage to my truck (which has already been fixed). I'm now driving my dad's 2004 5.4L f-150 and am going to be getting rid of the 4.2L.

Glad that you're back Tom

Hey Tom, how is the recovery coming along? i'm glad you're still with us man. I'm also glad you decided not to stop riding haha My R1 and i are doing fine :P its a good thing it finally stopped raining down here, if it kept up i would have gone crazy. I would have taken a run up palomar this weekend but i went snowboarding. the price was right! (my friend was working at the mtn) haha

well, i got myself a lift kit, the Fabtech 7.5 crossmember, got myself a diablo chip but i need to get it flashed for my truck, im currently shopping for rims, looks like i'm going to order a set tomorrow and i'm searching for tires. gonna try and get some 35's (305/75R17) for $120 or less so i have some searching to do...4.2manster you think you can get any hook ups like that?... gonna get my differential regeared to a 4.10 (probably next weekend) and it looks like i'll have my truck 7.5" in the air in two weeks if all goes well.

i had a great burger today for dinner, anyone else think fuddruckers is one of the greatest inventions of civilized man?

and BrianA, how do you like the pilot powers? i'm almost due for some new tires and im planning on getting a set of those

Guys, thanks for the numerous (and funny) responses. I am doing fine. I took a great moto ride (200 miles) on Saturday. I have a picture of me all busted up in the hospital in my gallery so check it out if you have the time.

R1, good luck with the 4.10 gears. I was running 4.10's but switched to 4.56 gears when I tossed on the 35" tires. 35" tires are 315's, not 305's. Double check that. I got the Pro Comps on my truck and they're great. I got the exact same lift kit as yours and it's great. Check out my gallery for pictures.

Well, I'm looking for Rman, is he here? I owe him my intake.

Tom

R1:
Pilot Powers? So far I LOVE them. I've ridden on Dunlops, Pilot Roads, and Pilot Sports - I think the Pilot Powers will be my favorites.
I'm anxious to get them hot and gummy to see how well they will stick. I'm betting they will be nice!

Tom:
Saw your bruised noggin'. OUCH! Glad you are mending and still riding.

Tom, great to hear from you. I saw your picture, OUCH, is the only word that comes to mind. Glad you don't look like that anymore. Same old , same old here. I did join the 20th century and installed a cd player in my truck last saturday, other than that, life goes on.
