That story sounds great, thanks for sharing.

I should be looking into a trans with 222k miles and just installed the DP.

Congradulations!!! I will say it too! Im jealous!!!!!! May I ask how much the bill was? I don't know where I'm going to find the money but I know I will be needing a BTS (hard to keep the foot off the pedal). I hope to be able to drive there for the experience. I need how much I will be needing to save (on top of beer and fuel). I see you got the cooler too. Sweet deal. Thanks!

bts has been great both times i was there.

I was just back last month having my trans, chip, and cooler transferred into my new 03. brian is a great guy

Depends...

If you are in need, in other words you are down, or slipping, they will do what they can to get you in, I called Friday, I was there Monday.

If you are in Want, you are 4-6 weeks out.

I am in need of one ive been limping mine along with out 2nd gear. I plan on building the motor up to 500hp and then ill be satisfied. But the trans is first. After i put my chip in and would race around it was like it would hang up in some gears and would take the r's to the red line. Does his trans shift good hard and doesn't hesitate? And will it take that much power ive heard it does but i want first hand experience.

The shift can be set up any way you like..as far as power, Brian says 1200hp +...I am finishing a 500hp build now....The thing is, if you can break it he will fix it...

You can get Jody to fix the problem with hitting the rev limiter. I was having the same broblem with my truck before I got my BTS. Jody changed the shift point with tuning and the problem was solved. I first noticed hitting the rev limiter at the track during RRE 09.

When I talked to Brian, I asked him about the warranty, and what I needed to do to make sure I stayed well with in the warranty, I didnt want to mess anything up. HE says to me "do you know beans diesel?", I replied no, Brian says" you got internet on that phone, look it up" So I did, he says, " you gonna do that with your truck?" I sad no, he replied" you'll have no problems, thats my transmission"

Brian has multiple shift plates that he can put in for you. He will talk with you and ask how, when, where, hardness....etc that you want it to shift and he will install that 'plate' that will do that for you. I you get your trans rebuilt in his shop, once you test drive it, if you want something different in the shifting he can change it out in 5 minutes and off for anothe test drive. If you get a BTS shipped to you and have it installed at your 'house', if you want a different 'shift', give Brian a call and he will send you a different shift plate to change to what you discribe for what you want.

tuners and chips will not void the 'warranty'

I've heard nothing but good about brian so brian it is now to the feed store to get fertilizer for the money tree
