If fords immaculate world renowned warranty was some great I would buy it from ford.....butttttt they are junk. So I just get quality products from a quality aftermarket part house I use... Just my $.02

It's been my considerable experience that OEM parts are MUCH better quality than the vast majority of A/M parts however there are exceptions to the rule. Not to mention that most parts for a 6.0 aren't available AM.
All this talk about blue spring upgrades had me wondering if I should upgrade. Then I started thinking, Last year I took my 6.0 in for a fuel leak. After reviewing my invoice a little closer, turns out the housing for the fuel regulator was warped (according to the tech notes), and they replaced the whole assembly with a new Pressure Regulator Kit P/N 3C3Z-9T517 AG. Does this mean they installed the blue spring kit in my truck?
You can also check out your local international dealer for the kit without the new cap n bolts. At my inter dealer, they run 24 dollars for the blue spring and all the orings/crushwashers.
We now have both in stock. Thank you to Bill for pointing out the need of these kits.
Thanks Clay! Looks like I'm going to have to get another order ready for you. The wife is already cussing your name since I told her I was going to get a couple more things for the truck.

Yip, you can get all kinds of parts through your local International/Navistar dealer. The problem is, some of them don't want to deal with cash sale customers....reminds me of a couple of Ford Dealers (right Tim?). If you want to go that route, you've got to have the part number in hand because more than likely they're not going to look it up for you.
Anyone who orders this kit, or you fellas that seem to have the capability to order these from ford, I have an 04 and I just lost that black plastic or nylon piece that the brass valve goes in. I've heard the newer trucks don't use this black plastic piece.... so if anyone orders the kid and doesn't use it, I'd like to buy yours, or if you are a dealer can you find me the part number for that piece and help me get one? This happened in the middle of my blue spring install, the black plastic piece fell into the abyss of wires and hoses below the radiator outlet and I spent 2 hours searching for it today to no avail and my truck is grounded until I get this part. Thanks!
