I am strongly cosidering the General HTS tires for my truck. The price is right and they are rated better than either of the Bridgestone Duelers mentioned. I don't run enough miles per year to go with the Michelins as they would be well past 5 years old by the time the tread was worn down. I don't like to run tires longer than 5 or 6 years for safety reasons. The sun and UV rays make them unsafe beyond that time.

OP,
2wd or 4wd? On or off road considerations make a huge difference. And if going off road, what kind of terrain...sand, mud, dirt, rocks? Will you be dealing with snow or ice? Another big consideration.
And for some folks...if they don't look right or if the name doesn't sound cool/tough...

So to answer your question; I DO have 4wd and I use it at least monthly, but most miles are on roads. That led me to AT type tires. So then I did some research on wet/dry/offroad performance (and pricing matters too). After doing that I chose the General Grabber AT-2 for my truck. AT tires are always a compromise between on/off road. Ideally, if you can afford it, 4WD trucks would have a set of wheels & tires for on road and another set tailored to the expected off road conditions. I'm too cheap for that.

I can't complain about 45K, but I can complain that at about 30K or so the wet performance of these tires has declined...

I am considering the General Grabber HTS, the Bridgestone: Dueler A/T REVO or even the Bridgestone: Dueler A/T REVO 2's. Michelin used to make an LTX M/S2 in 235/75 R17 but no more...
I have the Revo 2's and for my use, highway and snow, wouldn't recommend them. They're not good in snow after they have a few miles on them and are pretty much shot at 40k miles. I liked my OEM General tires better.

After reading more about the Revo 2's I won't get them either.. I am deciding between the Grabber HTS's and the Goodyear Silent Armors. I also agree with the reviews of the BFG Long Trail touring tires I have.. Great up until 30K after that the performance drops off quickly....
