Hello fellow Ford owners,
I must confess...Over the years I have talked a lot of trash about Ford trucks! (And my Dad was a Mercury guy, God rest his soul) So god has repaid me by letting me buy Ford trucks, WHICH NEVER BREAK! Now that I have that off my chest, I hope you all will help a (Now converted) Ford brother out.
I have a 1973 Ford F-600 with a 330 V8, the VIN # says it is a H/D version with a two barrel carb on it. I want to convert it to a four barrel carb, and would like to know if another Ford V8 (factory) intake manifold will work on this engine? I have read some of the blogs and another member named "Bill" seems to be a wealth of information. Info please!!!!
Thank you,
F600greg

Welcome to FTE
While FT engines share some parts with FE engines, the intake manifold gasket set for FT engines is different than with FE engines (C7TZ-9433-B vs C3AZ-9433-G).
All 1964/78 391 FT's are 4V's as are some 1976/78 361's / 330 M/D, 330 H/D, most 361's are 2V.
