cruise/horn

Hey guys im new so hope this is right but I have a 96 f350 w 7.3 5
speed when I bought the truck the horn and cruise wires on the non air bag horn
Pad were not pluged in and im missing the parts behind the wheel "clock spring" brush assembly" what do I need and if I could get part num any info is greatly appreciated

Thanks I hope some one can shine a light on it for me im not
worried about my cruise as much as horn for inspection

I have a 96 f350 to and mine has no spring but horn works but c/c does not. I would try junk yard for replacement cover?

What does your horn plug into behind the pad I have nothing to plug my wires into
its not a clock spring cause that's usually for air bags but it has to be a brush
Type to turn w the wheel

there is a copper style plate behind the pad and plugs in there and to the right of the nut on the wheel.

Ya I have the hole where the plug goes in at but no plate behind the wheel

Ya i would try a junk yard our the classifieds on here for a replacement

Ya I will have to c what I can find no pick and pull jy here and there not to helpful
either so may have to find someone w an obs 250 or 350 to get a pn from if they will let me look at it

i just looked at parts diagrams and to get that plate your going to need to buy a cover, $200 from ford, lmc doesnt llist that part, best bet would be to find a junk yard and look around in there,
