It isn't for me it is for a friend of mine. The truck is NOT my taste but he is paying my to build it so I am doing everything he wants.
It is going to be kinda unique.... it is a 1950 f-1 and has a very worked over 500+ HP 4 cyl cummins 4BT engine. The truck will have airbag suspension and lots of power options. He wants t for a daily driver that will RUN and get good mileage. The motor may need de-tuned to be a good street truck since the last car it was in ran 11 seconds in the quarter.
When I get time I will try to take some pics and update the thread.
500 HP and you want good mileage? What is your definition of 'good' getting to the next gas station? Son, this ve-hick-el is gonna do a lot of things and being economical is not one of them.
I am interested in this one. I was thinking about putting a 4bt in mine, but I thought about it too late in the fabrication game. My 351W was already sitting in place and I didn't want to start over.
Vrroomla!!!! lagada...lagada...lagada...lagada....Vrroomla!!! Looks awesome!
That first part is just my pretend engine with the cammed up loping idle...I have to make that noise occasionally so I don't forget what it's like!
Eh I know...I got the disease...
My 54 has a stock small block 350 and weights 2500 up front and 1200 in the rear. I gota be careful on the throttle cause it's pretty squirrely. The diesel has gota be heavier than a small block so I can't imagine trying to keep the rearend in back with 500 HP. Still, I hope to use my truck to pull my camper trailer someday so 500 diesel hp would be really cool.

That made me laugh out loud. Thanks
This is going to be an intersting truck. Nice build
