5.4 swap?

hey all i have a 1999 f250 4x4 5.4 triton and the ol triton just took her last breath the other night. i found a steal on an 2004 triton 5.4 and was wondering if this swap can be direct bolt in and go or not? any help is greatly appreciated. snows comin fast and shes my plow truck gotta get er back on the road

If it's a 2V out of a SuperDuty or and Econoline, then yes-it will work. You'll have a few little odd-and-end items that will need to be used from your existing engine, but it's not too bad. If it's the 3V out of an F150, then no,it won't come even close to being a direct swap.

Just keep your old engine, you will need to move a few sensors and probably need to use your stock harness. As said it has to be a 2V.
