Will anyone please help me I.D. my front axle? Newbie question I know and I'm sorry. I'm pretty sure it's a Dana 60 but I'm not for sure. My truck is a 1999 F-350 SD 4x4 DRW V10 Super Cab. The axle code is 61. I'm sure that is for the rear axle. A 3.73 open diff, rear end and I think that is also a Dana 135. Please tell if that is different. If you need more data information, please ask and I'll provide! Thank you to everyone!!! - j

 

Ben working Ford Parts for 7 years now, still haven't learn what axle is what in terms of Dana model. Sorry.

 

Here are the specs for the 2000 models. Ford has apparently dropped the '99 specs out of their online system. Probably due to age.

I think the info will still be correct. Your dually has a D60 front axle, and a D80 rear.
