Coil and Ign. Mod. Help?!!

I have a 81 f150 4x4 wit a 351M and a C6

Today i bought an Accel 8140 coil for my truck and a new BWD Ignition module. My question is can i just hook this coil up and new ignition module up, or is there something else i need to do? I put new BWD wires on last week and new Autolite AP25 plugs. I've been reading a little and have read something about a resistor being needed before the coil?

Here are links to what i bought:

Buy Accel Super Stock Points Coil 8140 at Advance Auto Parts

Buy BWD Ignition Control Module CBE7Z at Advance Auto Parts

Thank You,
Josh

Primary resistance is 1.4 ohms and secondary resistance is 9.2 kilo ohms

Coil should be fine as a direct replacement.

I would have just painted my old one yellow

LMAO the reason I got it is because I think something is wrong with my ignition system, when I get on the gas the truck cuts out like its flooding, so I was thinking Maybe I'm not getting enough spark. Also you wouldn't happen to know what I should gap the plugs at with the new coil, and wouldn't happen to know the stock voltage on the factory coil would you?

I would start with a normal plug gap as the coil is not really much different then a stock coil,
If it runs good with a normal gap, try opening it up .005 and see if it still starts OK.
