Went to my local ford dealer and dropped by the parts department to get some DEF and was told that in a couple months Ford is going to start charging for the spout for the DEF refills, it will no longer be included with the refill jug.
So those that like the refill spout provided with the Ford def might want to hang on to those old spouts.
Don't know what you paid for Ford DEF but I bet it was overpriced.
I use Peak brand @ $12.00/ 2.5 gal. It comes with a spout
Most of them come with a spout, but I haven't found one that works as well as the Motorcraft spout. I have been buying the DEF at NAPA and using the Motorcraft jug to pour in the second 2.5 gal when I'm empty. The Motorcraft spout positively seals to the truck and vents back into the jug making it virtually impossible to overfill or spill the DEF.

I do the same thing.
The Motorcraft spout is sweet.
I mad e trip about 3 hours south and came across one of the stations with a DEF pump next to diesel pump. First time for me. Now that was nice and easy. Filled it right up.
