Mack trucks is moving their world headquarters from Allentown, Pa to North Carolina. But while moving everything out this past week, aparently they used a Freightliner to move one of 2 big bull dog statues from the property. MMMM...isnt that like Ford using a Chebbie or a Dodge to move stuff from one of their buildings??
I figure it's just the moving contractor. Stuff happens.
I remember years ago when I was a parts driver for a Ford dealership, there was a Chrysler dealership that used a Ford F 700 in their fleet to pick up from the Chrysler warehouse.
I realize it was probably the moving contractor, but you think that Mack would have said only Mack tractors can be used. This really upset alot of current and former employees of Mack.
But on the side of a Chrysler dealer using a Ford to pick up parts, I know a Chrysler dealership that used a 78 Ford 250 as a wrecker, then when they got bought out by the owner of a Ford dealer, he kept the truck going. Now the Chrysler dealer is gone due to Chrysler closing it, but he had already started to move his Ford dealership to the site, and he still keeps that old wrecker going. Although he does now have 2 newer rollbacks though.
