fuel leak question

well my issue wasnt a backwards lid ring cus it was in there for 15000 miles or so over last year was first time fireing it up for the day with no plug in and now not leaking cus its warm then changed filter now still no leak i can only see the drain valve or maybe little spot on lid oring leaking before at a -5 degree start up with 15-40 now plug in and not ran in 2 weeks but will redo drain valve in mourning but not leaking anymore before i touched it this afternoon once warmed up
