I have found two Ford manuals that I'm hoping will help using the AE for my 2000 F350. One is the Super Duty 7.3 diesel powertrain and emissions diagnostic manual and the other is the OBDII Powertrain control and emissions for car/truck. They are both $115.00 on e-bay, any thoughts on which one will be the most useful?
Save $95 and just become a supporter here. Armed with an FTE membership and an AE, you can figure out just about everything there is to figure on your truck.

I think the PC/ED manual is the better of the two. You will need a good scan tool to maximize the functions found in that book though...
There is still some good info about sensors, how and why they work and some good diagnostic info. $115 is outragous though...I usually see them for $55-60 range. I was patient and got mine for $35 so you might want to shop around for a bit.
Another good thing to have is the FCSD interactive study guides that Ford developed to train their technicians. My uncle gave me a full set but it is hard copy only...I wish I had them in pdf so I could share. (might be some alone time with a scanner in my future...)

No need to scan, some are available online! Adding to the one posted above.
Thanks guys! I will look through those links when I get more time. At a quick glance I didn't see the same courses that I have printed but they are probably in there. What I have has the instructor's notes and answers to the quizzes so that is sorta useful as well.
