Tranny Question
I have a '99 explorer 5.0 AWD, and was wondering if I have an E40-d tranny. I am looking to get an electronic shift improver kit but the guy wanted to know if that was the tranny I had. Thanks in advance everybody.

Are you planning on getting the Jet electronic controller?
I have one, and it does a very good job. I also put in the Baumann mechanical kit also, so I use both.
You will enjoy the Jet (its the only Jet product I will own)... JMO...

Jet and B&M make them. I think Summit Racing carries the B&M. I have the Jet - got it from John at EE.
