im looking to add backup sensors to my truck. i want the "beeping" signal to be able to control the volume on the radio. i also want to use the factory radio bezel. anybody done this or know what will work?
Back-up warning alarm or back-up sensor? A backup warning signal (beep-beep-beep) like a garbage truck simply wires into the back-up lamp circuit. With volume control? I have no idea... that's a new one on me.
You can buy replacement taillight bulbs that have the backup alarm built in which I think I saw an ad from Cabela's or you can get a backup alarm from a truck shop, but don't know how you would tie it in to a new head unit that would fit into the original mount for the radio.
