Back-up warning alarm or back-up sensor? A backup warning signal (beep-beep-beep) like a garbage truck simply wires into the back-up lamp circuit. With volume control? I have no idea... that's a new one on me.

Here's a $100 sensor kit: The Hoffman Group - Stellar - Backup Warning Systems - Standard System, Deluxe System, Wireless System

You can buy replacement taillight bulbs that have the backup alarm built in which I think I saw an ad from Cabela's or you can get a backup alarm from a truck shop, but don't know how you would tie it in to a new head unit that would fit into the original mount for the radio.
