Well, I think that you're going to be on your own on this one. As I understand it ( and no doubt someone here will correct me if I'm wrong!), Ford bought their truck standard heaters from a couple different vendors through the F-1 series and the heater model varies. The only ones that were actually produced by Ford were the Magic Air units. If you ever poke around Ebay much, F-1 original heaters pop up fairly often. I've seen at least three different styles. My advice would be to find a helpful soul at the parts house who will go through the heater core book with you. There should be pictures and dimensions in the back. You'll probably have to try to find one that matches pretty close to get a replacement. Does anybody else here have any other info? I've got a Magic Air unit for mine and I'm going to need a core at some point, too. Is the F-1 Magic Air core the same as an F-100 core?

I was looking while you were typing 'rage.

My '58 Hollanders doesnt list heater anything. Going to the 64 one it starts in 53 and lists 2 types in the F100-350 that interchange to 56.

As far as a new core try an old timey radiator shop. Possibly get one made for short money.

Also, a lot of the trucks didn't come with factory heaters. The old-timers got there's from Sears, junkyard, or where ever.

I have seven 48-52 trucks and no two have the same heater.
