I sure wouldn't have thought Pujols would be performing like this. Everybody catches a slump, but this is ridiculous. The whole team (with the exception of Weaver) has been a pretty big disappointment so far.

Seems to me to be a fairly common phenomena.
Player signs a huge contract and feels he must justify it so he presses to hard.
Batters box ain't no place to press.
I'll bet he's back in the groove in a bit. Hopefully a "bit" isn't the all star break.
Still, paying that much is wacky to me.
Hope it all works out so we can have a freeway series.
