They should fit, same front clip on both vehicles. Santa is bringing me a set of Hedman Hedders. There is a couple of real good threads over in the V-10 forum that follow some instals with good pics.
Earlier this summer a member from Canada put them on his X. He did a real nice writeup with pics and all. Turned me off the cheapy Ebay headers real quick after seeing these.

I had emailed Hedman back in August about them and was told they are only for the pickups. Maybe a few emails from those interested might get the ball rolling on a set for us. Since I would not be doing the work myself I could not take the chance of them not fitting correctly. I am not sure what exactly is different or not but I could not take the chance. I know when I spoke with Banks about their set that there was a different part number for the X than the 250 so it seems that there might be a different mounting tab location or something?

If you do get a set and try them out WE3ZS would you mind taking a few pictures and doing a small write-up perhaps? Thanks!
I really can't imagine a set of headers made for an F-250 NOT fitting our trucks, they are pretty much identical in the area involved. But I guess I'll find out!
I need to setup a photo bucket account and post some pics of work already done, I will take photos of the Headman Hedders install. I don't know how long after the holidays they will go on between upcomming crazy 12hr/7day work and shoe-horning the buggy into a very crowded garage. I'm looking forward to testing their performance gains on an April towing vacation trip.
Also for anyone else thinking about these the Hedmans include the Y pipe, that helped me make my (actually Santa's) decision on them.
Correct WE3ZS that is why I was interested in them as well since they do include the Y-pipe. I should be testing out the fit of these on my 2000 soon so I will keep updated here when I do as well.
yeah hedman told me the same..... trucks only! Dont get it.
OK, did they say what the fitment issues are? I really can't see a difference. A lot of times things like this arise due to the fact the manufacturer made an item on and for a given model but hasn't hung them on the other nearly identical model.
The Banks system I saw was just a little too pricey for my budget, but they do look nice, quality products no doubt.
