500 or 600 cfm

Going to bite the bullet and buy an Eddy for my '77 302 auto with headers and duals. The headers and electric fan gave some more HP and a bit more mileage. Have an older Eddy 302 intake to use. Which carb ? 1403 500 cfm would I think be the best but a 1400 or 1406 600 cfm is doable too if not too big. Mostly use truck around town but want some more oomph when pulling my '64 10 foot Shasta down the road. mileage is a concern too. Don't have any other mods planned for this daily driver engine. Santa said I was good this year so I want to get my order in soon.

500 would get you better mileage but for your app I would recommend the 1406 600 cfm.

Had a long talk with Rep at Edelbrock and have decided on the 500 cfm carb as I don't plan on doing anything with the heads and cam (this cam being one of the worst ever put in a 302 . Will update after installation and some driving.
