Fuel Gauge off

Have a 09 F150 and the gas guage is very random full doesn't always show full and sometimes when it hits E theres still over a 1/4 of a tank lol It may be wrong alot but you always have more gas then what it may show which is better then the other way around.

When I fill up I try to guess how much it will take based on the gauge (game I play with my son).
The last few times I've been off by 5 gal or more. So maybe mine is a little off. I'll pay more attention going forward.

Fuel gage
Might be worth a ride to the dealer. Been checking my fuel since day one calculator -vs- Gage reading. Rarely off more than 2-3 tenths of a gallon. If mine were off by 5 gallons I'd be questioning my dealer and looking for a fix. Good luck. K
