Lighting Vs the DPS?

I know a DPS officer and he has a Lighting and a Ford f-150 thats his DPS truck and the DPS truck will smoke and I mean SMOKE the lighting like it was standing still I've seen hin do it. I was just wondering what did they do to the DPS truck to make it so god awfully fast. Just if your wondering i'm in Texas I dont know if DPS any where else drive f-150's

I have some law enforcement friends and they knew their vehicles.

Yes there are performance upgrades but for the most part, it is all neutralized with the addition weight of all the special equipment installed on their vehicles. The performance upgrades will compensate for the extra weight on acceleration and will open up the top end for those high speed chases.

To smoke the Lightning, that's gonna require lots of power. Unless he had a special special pursuit oriented vehicle...I too am a non-believer.

Lighting Vs the DPS?

The DPS trucks are bone-stock 5.4 F150 Supercabs. The only way it'll smoke a Lightning would be if it were a Gen 1 Lightning (still doubtful), or if the Lightning were missing on 4 cylinders. Seriously.
