My 96 150 driv er side door doesn't seem to shut right.
There is a lot of wind noise and such. At highway speeds it's a little annoying. If i put my eye up along the door frame I can see light between the frame and the door gasket.
Man mine is the same way. Not much noise though. If im sitting in the truck with the door closed I can move the door gasket on the door with my fiinger and see day light.... if you find a fix please let me know...
MY drivers door in a 95 F-150 does the same. I noticed that when the drivers door is open, it has a lot of play to it. It looks as though the bolt on the top hinge is wearing down and not holding the door as tight as it should. I'm debating trying to find a bolt that is the perfect thickness, and replacing the bolt. Not sure if it'll work or not though.
The Haynes manual tells how to adjust the door hinges so they close. Do that, THEN adjust the fenders so the gap is right - never adjust the door to fit the fender.
