ecm help

First I would like to welcom my self I just joined to day

Im look for help 2 months ago I pick up a 2008 f350 no problems till a week ago it wouldnt start a few time then the check engine light was on so a buddy pluged into it the code was exhaust gate delay so I droped it off at the dealer today then called me an hour latter and told me it would not start they need my other key to start the truck ok they came and picked it up 20 min latter called me back still will not start asked me if i had a tuner in it NO I DONT 2 hrs go buy they called me back again he told me it the ECM I told him thats funny the guy I got the truck from 3 months befor he also had to have an ECM put in now if this is not funny I was at the beer store there was a guy sitting in a truck 2008 f350 WILL NOT START I told him my truck has dune the same thing twice now then he told me he has had 4 ECM put in NOW THIS IS WHERE I NEED HELP HAS ANY ONE ELSE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM IF SO WHY

ITS NICE I STILL HAVE WARRANTY THAT HELPS

I don't have an answer for you except I've read every post on here for three years and I don't believe anyone has said anything about 3 let alone 4. Since you're still under warranty the truck must be low mileage. Maybe some of the mecanics will have a better answer. BTW welcome aboard.

Thanks for lookin at my post I only have 84000 km on the truck

I too cannot recall anyone having near the problem you are having. There have been a few corrupt ECM's but most were associated with Ford updates right at the dealership's.

There has to be a different root cause to the issue. Be sure you take all keys to them so they can be programmed.

If you have remote start I think i would quite using it.
