This isn't a fomoco related except maybe indirectly, but I know that there is a goldmine of experience here, so here goes. I have a new battery in my 4x4 that isn't powerful enough to start my machine now that the weather is cold, so I need to jump it with another battery. The new one is a 12v 9amp and the jumper is a 12v8 amp but sealed. So my question is can I carry and use my sealed battery hardwired but laying on its side. My onboard tool box is 1/8" too small to carry it upright.

According to BatteryWholesale.com...
"My application calls for the battery to be inserted on its' side. Can this be done with sealed lead acid batteries?
Yes. The batteries can be installed in any orientation."
So I guess that Google provided me with my answer.
